Deposit & Cancellation Policy

We're transparent about payments and
how our cancellation policy works.

A 50% deposit will be collected upon signing up, and confirmation of placement on a trip. The remaining 50% will be payable 30 calendar days before the date of departure. Reminders for the payable amount will be sent out prior to the date of due.

Should a cancellation be made more than 60 calendar days prior to the scheduled trip, a refund of the amount paid to date, less any operating expenses, will be made. Deposits will be forfeited, should a cancellation be made between 31 - 60 calendar days prior to the trip's departure date. No refunds will be made, in the case of a cancellation made less than 30 calendar days of the trip's departure date. It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

Lighthouse Expeditions Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip at its discretion if the safety of participants or staff should be compromised. Lighthouse Expeditions Pte. Ltd. is not responsible for any loss incurred for non-refundable travel costs. Affected participants will be informed at least 14 calendar days before the date of departure. In the event of such cancellations, a refund in the form of future trip credits* by Lighthouse Expeditions Pte. Ltd. will constitute the full and final settlement.

*For future trip credits, reservations must be made within one (1) calendar year of the original date of departure or funds are forfeit. Refunds will not be issued after a future trip credit reservation has been made.
